Brick House Cigars were originally created by J.C Newman back in 1937 as Cuban Puro cigars. ‘Puro’ denotes pure, and as these cigars (the filler, the binder and the wrapper) are made from tobacco belonging to Cuba, they were called Cuban Puros. Newman’s grandsons Bobby and Eric revived the Brick House cigars in 2009 and built it into a respectable, popular brand. These Brick House Cigars are handmade in Nicaragua and offer the quintessential cigar smoking experience.
The Nicaraguan Puro is wrapped in a special proprietary Havana Subido wrapper. These cigars are handmade in Nicaragua and aged for almost a year. The wrapper is dark reddish brown in color and gives an attractive look to the cigar. The filler is infused with Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos. The cigars are medium to full in strength and have received 90+ ratings in all the major magazines like Cigar Snob and Cigar Aficionado.
Each vitola in this line of cigars offers its own unique flavor and aroma. While Robusto is a maduro and a blend of cocoa and sweetness, the Mighty Maduro has notes of pepper with cocoa. The Corona Larga delivers good amounts of smoke and has a tea-like flavor with hints of cherry while the Churchill cigars have a pepper and creamy taste. The Toro is a bit spicy and the Short Torp, a bit sweet. Enjoy the delicious and varied vitolas and experience the exquisiteness of this Nicaraguan puro.
