Cohiba Nicaragua is a cigar line that is completely constructed of rich Nicaraguan tobaccos, enclosed in a dark Colorado Oscuro wrapper. Cohiba Comador cigars are concocted with a blend of Caribbean and Central American tobaccos. Each tobacco is aged for three years and then for a fourth year in rum barrels. The wrapper used is a rich Connecticut grown Havana-seed tobacco leaf.
Then there is the Red Dot with its filler mix of fine Dominican Piloto Cubano tobaccos, a Jember binder from Indonesia and a toothy Cameroon wrapper, creating a cigar that has hints of pepper, cream, almond and milder spices. Cohiba Black has a filler blend of finely aged Mexican and Dominican tobaccos brought together using a Dominican Piloto binder. This is then aged for an extended period of time to create richer flavors. A dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper is used to finish off this wonderful cigar to provide a rich and aromatic smoke.
Almost synonymous with Cuban cigars, Cohiba Cigars that were made in Cuba became unavailable in the US after the Cuban embargo. However, General Cigar company licensed the Cohiba name and set about reconstructing these cigars in the Dominican Republic. The brand offers a number of different cigars with a variety in the blend, wrapper and the aging process. These Dominican Cohibas keep up the tradition of excellent cigars to come out under this name and offer cigar smokers a wide choice in excellent premium cigars. From the Red Dot to the Luxury Selection, each cigar is worth the cost and gives you a smoking experience that you will enjoy and keep coming back to.
