The LaFinca line has been one of my favories - a well made cigar with good flavor (both the smoke and the tobacco itself) and easy draw. This batch is pretty terrible.

The aroma of the burning end of the cigar is pleasant, but the smoke that comes through has undertones of wet, green earth with a bitter bite that resembles something like garbage. Each of the 4 that I have tried to enjoy exhibit the same problems. Hope curing over a few months will change the results.

Wont try the Valentino again, sticking with their other offerings. (Posted on April 21, 2013)
