Avo Classic Cigars were the first brand from the Avo Cigars stable. The famous musician Avo Uvezian also had a passion for cigars, and when he decided to create his own brand of cigars, it was Hendrik Kelner, the master cigar blender that he chose to partner with. The Classic brand was the first result of their combined efforts. This, the first of Avo cigars, was released in 1988.
Avo Classic contains a filler that is composed of a blend of five different Dominican Republic Tobaccos. This long-leaf filler blend includes San Vincente tobacco and Cuban-seed Piloto tobacco. Dominican Olor tobacco is used for the binder. The finely aged filler leaves and the binder tobacco are then wrapped in a silky, golden Connecticut-seed Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper.
Avo Classic cigars are mild-strength cigars, with a creamy smoke that has hints of earth, hay, and nuts. They have a thin burn line and a slow steady burn. The silky wrapper adds to its attractive look and makes these cigars something to be appreciated and savored. Avo Classic cigars helped establish Avo Cigars as a premium cigar maker, and the years have not eroded its popularity.
Avo Classics are available in different shapes and sizes. These handmade cigars are also offered in different packaging - as singles, as singles packed in tubes, as boxes of singles and boxes of tubes. These tubos are singles packed in aluminum tubes, to seal in their freshness. Try one of these aromatic and mellow cigars to find out why Avo Cigars became so popular among cigar smokers.
