CAO Fuma Em Corda Robusto is the latest in the highly successful CAO Amazon Basin series launched in 2014. This brand contains a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan long fillers, but most excitingly, a blend of Brazilian Arapiraca and Braganca tobaccos. The Arapiraca tobacco underwent a special process unique to the Alagoas region of Brazil that bounds the leaves with tightly wound ropes which are then left to ferment. The tobacco that results from this process is called Fuma Em Corda, the cigars’ namesake. The Braganca leaves are packed into carottes tubes to ferment for six months.
