Cusano Cigars was founded during the big cigar boom in 1995 by Italian American brothers Joe and Michael Chiusano. Michael flew down to the Dominican Republic and returned with unlabeled cigars to share with other cigar enthusiasts in his life. They were a hit, so he created his own label and brought them to a cigar lounge he frequented called Two Guys Smoke Shop, and the rest is history.
The Chiusano brothers had great success with the company until the early 2000’s. In 2009, Cusano was acquired by Oettinger Davidoff Group, the owner of Davidoff and Avo cigars. Since then, they have completely revamped the line of products to include a Dominican Maduro brand as well as the Dominican Connecticut.
Cusano Cigars features hand made Dominican cigars with a wide range of smoke profiles and flavors. Their cigars have received a number of honors including several 90+ ratings, letting the quality speak for itself.
