Liga Privada Undercrown cigars have an exceptional blend of Nicaraguan Cuban-seed tobaccos and Brazilian Mata Fina leaves. The binder used is a Connecticut Habano stalk-cut tobacco. The wrapper enclosing this exquisite blend is a very dark Mexican San Andres Maduro. This Otapan Negro wrapper is made of the Ultimo Corte or last-cut primings and adds a delicious flavor to the cigars.
The Undercrown cigars are available in many vitolas including the hard to roll Flying Pig. Firmly constructed, evenly packed, with a snug-fitting wrapper, these cigar look good with their almost black color. They provide a rich, full-bodied smoke with a nice flavor profile of nuts, coffee and chocolate. A mocha smoke with a delicious pure tobacco taste is revealed as you keep smoking. With the Undercrown, you can enjoy cigars that are similar in flavor and strength to the Liga Privada, at a lesser price.
This is a great line of premium cigars
from Drew Estate, one that adds to their reputation as a cigar company that creates excellent smoking products. La Liga Privada Undercrown Cigars have an interesting back-story. The torcedores working on Drew Estate cigars were allowed to smoke any of the cigars in production. However, the tobaccos, especially the special primings used in the Liga Privada line were rare. So, the highly skilled cigar rollers worked their way around it. They created an alternate blend, using a mix of tobaccos bought for the Liga Privada brand, but primings that were not so rare. Enjoy a special private blend, one created by the Torcedores for their own use–the Undercrown cigars.
Blended especially for the president of Drew Estates, enjoy this medium to full bodied treat!
