How is one cigar determined to be better than another? A great cigar is more than just burn and tobacco. It’s the impeccable construction combined with an exquisite array of flavors that define great cigars. Rocky Patel’s hugely popular boutique-cigars will undeniably sweep you off your feet with their ethereal lineup of blends and flavors. One such classic from the Rocky Patel family is the Rocky Patel Royale. Honored with cigar aficionado #5 of the year 2014, these cigars will surely give you a taste of royalty.
These cigars are meticulously hand-crafted at a factory in Nicaragua using dapper looking Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers. These cigars which had been in works for the last 6 years before being unveiled in August 2013 are box-pressed with two binder leaves of contrasting look and style. One being the Connecticut shade, a light, thin leaf known for its mild flavor, and the other is the Connecticut broadleaf, a thick, rugged leaf with a brawny earthy flavor. An amalgamation of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers is skillfully held by the two above-mentioned binders.
Available in the sizes-Toro, Robusto, Torpedo and Gordo, these cigars use formidable cigar-quality Nicaraguan tobacco from the farms in Condega and Estelí. As a result of which, each cigar gives away a rich, earthy smoke having traces of spice, almond, espresso and leather. These medium-to-full bodied cigars are usually packaged in boxes of 20. The pleasant hints of chocolate in them will soothe your senses, thereby keeping your mood relaxed for a long duration of time.
