Released in 2012 at the IPCPR convention, Rocky Patel Private Cellar was one of Rocky Patel’s ‘personal favorites’.
The cigars were out only after a lot of work and aging and this wait proved to be fruitful as the cigars received a tremendous response. Wrapped in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, the cigars are packed with Nicaraguan long fillers and a Nicaraguan binder. Available in three sizes, Robusto (5x 50), Toro (6.5 x52) and Torpedo (6.1x52), the cigars have quickly grabbed the attention of every cigar aficionado.

Right from the appearance to the flavor profile, it is easy to note the amount of detail and thought that has been invested in the cigars. The dark Maduro wrapper has an oily, smooth texture and very few veins. There is an interesting blend of bold and neatly defined flavors. There is a taste of pepper and spice at the very beginning with a gradual introduction of dark chocolate and tones of wood before ending in a spicy sweetness. The impeccable construction of the cigars gives a sharp burn and thick cool smoke providing an excellent smoking experience. The medium strength and body complement each other to give a balanced performance.
Rolled in Rocky Patel’s Tavicusa factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, the Private Cellar cigars are a premium, complex and rich medium to full-bodied cigars that have added another feather to the decorated cap of the brand. With a smooth smoke, unique flavors and a reasonable price, the cigars, like every cigar in Rocky Patel’s repertoire, are a must-buy for all cigar lovers.
