La Gloria Cubana Serie R Cigars
La Gloria Cubana Serie R Cigars are made in the Dominican Republic, though they are derived from a special brand of Cuban cigars.
The La Gloria Cubana cigar were recreated for American cigar smokers by a Cuban immigrant, Ernesto Carrillo, in Miami's Little Havana. These cigars are now made in the Dominican Republic and many more brands have also joined the original La Gloria Cubana cigar.
The La Gloria Cubana Serie R cigars are a richer and more full-bodied version of the original cigars. Made from an excellent blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, using a Dominican binder, the Serie R cigars are available in Ecuadorian Sumatra or Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers. Though a similar blend as the La Gloria Cubana, the Serie R cigars offer a stronger smoke.
Read moreThe Serie R tobacco blend is aged for three years longer than the original La Gloria Cubana tobaccos. This increases the richness, taste and aroma of the tobacco leaves. Combined with the special wrappers, their flavors become more complex, providing a long and satisfying premium cigar smoke.
The Serie R cigars come in different sizes. You can choose either the Ecuadorian-grown Sumatra-seed wrapper or a dark Maduro Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Either way, the cigars are full of flavors with a well-balanced smoke. It has earthy notes, and hints of spice, cocoa and leather, with a nice undertone of nuts.
The Serie R cigars are large ring gauge cigars to give you a full-bodied smoke that will reveal all the subtle flavors of the tobacco. These cigars are meant for a connoisseur, someone who appreciates a handcrafted classy smoke, which is strong yet smooth enough not to irritate the palate.
