Arturo Fuente Anejo Shark No. 777

The Arturo Fuente Añejo Shark No. 77, where do we start? Some might argue this is the Holy Grail of Arturo Fuente cigars, we might agree. Only released 2 times a year (usually around Fathers day and Christmas) and with a very limited production, these gems are considered a rarity. In a way, this is a shame because they are such great cigars but that just makes getting your hands on some and smoking them that much better.

The Shark No. 77 has a very unique shape, which resembles a sharks tooth; it is a half box pressed cigar and as strange as that may sound, it truly is a beautiful cigar. The open end is box - pressed and about half way down the cigar rounds off in to a torpedo shape. With its odd shape you would suspect possible performance issues but the people over at Arturo Fuente truly out do themselves when making these unique cigars and get it perfect every time. This is really a work of art; the perfect construction gives this cigar a nice, slow, razor sharp burn producing a nice solid white ash that will hang on almost until you are done with the cigar. With its dense pack you would expect a hard draw but that isn't the case here, I don’t know how they do it. I guess that's what makes Arturo Fuente such a reputable cigar brand.

The Arturo Fuente Añejo Shark No. 77 is a full bodied cigar, though it doesn't start off that way. The shark is wrapped in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that is very dark brown with an oily sheen to it, very few small veins; a truly elegant wrapper aged 5 years to get it just right. The unique tobacco used for this cigar is all Dominican, carefully chosen and blended for the perfect flavor. This cigar is complex and ultimately, enjoyable to the nub. Yielding flavors of oak and nuts the cigar has a nice sweet flavor to it all the way through with a nice spice as well. Also following are hints of leather, earth and some cocoa notes which become stronger towards the end of the cigar.

Over all, the Arturo Fuente Añejo Shark No. 77 is an amazing and rare cigar. This is perfect for those oh, so very special occasions where you want to celebrate with the absolute best. This cigar will turn heads, break necks and blow minds, get your hands on some now, before they're gone..again.
