Brick House cigars was established in 1937 by Julius Caesar Newman. The brand, named after the brick house he grew up in in Hungary, came onto the market as an affordable cigar during the recession at that time. The recession was also the cause of the brand being retired but in 2009 it was brought back by Julius's grandsons.
