Ashton Cabinet: The Blend Ashton Cabinet embodies a complex blend of six top-grade Dominican long-fillers aged for a minimum of four years. It is then cloaked in a supplemental Dominican binder. The wrapper in particular is aged an extra year resulting in an extra creamy disposition and a shimmering chest-nut appearance. While some sources say Ashton fillers are aged 4-5 years, the entire process of aging from seed to stick takes up to seven years. Dominant flavors include velvety creaminess, almonds, a little spice with cedary undertones, roasted coffee bean, buttery toast, nutty sweetness, white pepper, vanilla bean, hay, and cocoa. Ashton Cabinet has received a 90+ Cigar Aficionado rating three times since its debut including a recent 91 rating in 2019.
