The Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Natural is one of those classic, go-to cigars people can't seem to let go of or stray away from. This is all with good reason; it’s a great looking, performing and tasting cigar. It comes with a cedar sleeve over its Natural Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, beautifully rolled around its Dominican binder and long filler. The construction is always great with Fuente cigars and this one is no different. No soft spots, not hard, just right, giving it a great draw and a razor sharp burn. At 4 and a half inches long with a 50 ring gauge, this cigar is perfect for those moments where you want a great cigar but don't necessarily have over an hour to smoke one, the Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente will last you a good, enjoyable 45 minutes.
The Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Natural is truly a great tasting cigar. This is a mild to medium bodied smoke but still very flavorful. Initially, the dominant flavor is a slightly sweet cedar with a hint of spice. The smoke gets a little creamy with a slight woodsy flavor and undertones of roasted nuts with a little pepper and a touch of cocoa on the finish. The cigar is very smooth and well balanced, perfect for a morning smoke because it will not overwhelm your pallet. Though the cigar isn’t too complex it remains interesting from the moment you light it until the moment you set it down. The Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Natural is an overall great cigar that you will be sure to love.

The Chateau series offers a consistent burn with a smooth, perfectly snug draw. Even though some of the Chateau series cigars need one or two touch-ups during the smoke, this rarely affects the quality of the smoke. The ash may also be flaky especially for the larger sizes like the King T and the Royale Salute. The smaller versions like Queen B and Belicoso hold their ash very well. The burn is quite slow, and even the smaller versions can turn into a one hour smoke.
The Chateau series features medium-bodied cigars which pack a full-flavor. The overall flavor palate for the Fuente Chateau involves woody, cedar, and spicy tones in the front of the palate. Undertones feature creamy, nutty, espresso notes that last until the next draw. The cigars that fall in the light-medium category of strength are wrapped in the Connecticut natural shade. It is light, smooth, and easy; a cigar that you can smoke at any time of the day. Cigars that feature the Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper are medium-bodied. They are generally spicier, with a bit of a bang, and a stronger flavor palate. The Maduro wrapper works with medium to full-bodied cigars which pack a formidable punch both in strength and flavor.
Ultimately, the Fuente Chateau series accommodates each category of stogie lover, from anytime stogies that can be smoked in the morning to after dinner cigars that need a good 2-hour allowance. We are confident you will find your perfect stogie, I know I did.
