The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story is a very neat, great cigar. This cigar has a very clean burn, almost razor sharp, unlike many other “perfecto” shaped cigars, but that’s everything you would expect from a cigar made by Arturo Fuente. The draw is perfect making a hefty amount of smoke with a sweet aroma that will just fill the room. Even the ash on this cigar is nice, a solid grey color and it hangs on well keeping the cherry cool for a more enjoyable smoke. The construction of this cigar is about as good as it gets, really.
The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story is not only well constructed but it is also a very flavorful smoke. The flavor in this stick changes as you smoke, mainly due to its shape. It gets its flavors from its beautiful authentic Cameroon wrapper, which look a bit dry and toothy but boy does it compliment the Dominican binder and filler well. The cigar is smooth with flavors right off the back of rich, sweet tobacco with a hint of spice and a slight woodsy flavor with hints of nuts and cedar undertones. This is a cigar that just won’t let you down for one second, about 45 minutes of pure greatness. The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story is truly an exceptional cigar that you will be sure to love, especially for those moments when you don’t have an hour or more to smoke a cigar.
