The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R 52 is Carlos Fuente's idea of a good cigar and honestly, he couldn't possibly be any more correct. The construction of this cigar is near perfect. The beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, aged for 10 years, is a rich brown with a reddish hue, hence the name "Rosado". The seams on this cigar are basically invisible; it has few small veins and almost looks like it's covered in thin, fine leather. After being hand rolled, these cigars sit for an extra year, aging to perfection. The burn is flawless but that's expected from an Arturo Fuente cigar, and the ash is a beautiful solid white that holds on very well. The draw on this stick is great, producing a ton of smoke that will turn heads with its powerful yet slightly sweet aroma.
The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R 52 isn't a powerhouse cigar but it is filled with extraordinary flavors. This medium bodied smoke is quite complex, flaunting flavors of sweet cedar, a bit of leather, some roasted nuts, and a long, peppery finish. The flavors flow so well on the pallet, each complimenting the others perfectly. Definitely one of Arturo Fuente’s best, the Rosado Sungrown Magnum R 52 is a rare treat.
