The Arturo Fuente Sungrown Chateau is a classic go to cigar for those sungrown wrapper lovers. The cigar has a nice rich chocolate brown color to it with very few veins and nearly invisible seams, although it comes dressed in a cedar sleeve which enhances its already pleasant aroma. The burn is exactly what you would expect from an Arturo Fuente cigar, razor sharp. The draw is just right, not loose, not tight, the perfect consistency for a slow even burn but a good amount of smoke. The Arturo Fuente Sungrown Chateau is a great smoke and at 4 1/2 inches with a 50 ring gauge it will last you about an hour.
The Arturo Fuente Sungrown Chateau has earned its reserved spot in the humidors of many cigar aficionados thanks to it's immaculate construction and flavor, which is outstanding. Right from the beginning the cigar surprises you with a bit of spice and a slightly sweet tobacco flavor that comes from the sun grown Ecuadorian wrapper. The cigar hints creamy flavors, sweet cedar, deep woodsy flavor with a rich earthiness and hints of leather, cinnamon and even a tiny citrusy flavor. For the ultimate experience, you can use the cedar sleeve to light the cigar; it truly makes a world of a difference. The Arturo Fuente Sungrown Chateau is an exceptional cigar over all that you will be sure to love and recommend to others as well.

The Chateau series offers a consistent burn with a smooth, perfectly snug draw. Even though some of the Chateau series cigars need one or two touch-ups during the smoke, this rarely affects the quality of the smoke. The ash may also be flaky especially for the larger sizes like the King T and the Royale Salute. The smaller versions like Queen B and Belicoso hold their ash very well. The burn is quite slow, and even the smaller versions can turn into a one hour smoke.
The Chateau series features medium-bodied cigars which pack a full-flavor. The overall flavor palate for the Fuente Chateau involves woody, cedar, and spicy tones in the front of the palate. Undertones feature creamy, nutty, espresso notes that last until the next draw. The cigars that fall in the light-medium category of strength are wrapped in the Connecticut natural shade. It is light, smooth, and easy; a cigar that you can smoke at any time of the day. Cigars that feature the Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper are medium-bodied. They are generally spicier, with a bit of a bang, and a stronger flavor palate. The Maduro wrapper works with medium to full-bodied cigars which pack a formidable punch both in strength and flavor.
Ultimately, the Fuente Chateau series accommodates each category of stogie lover, from anytime stogies that can be smoked in the morning to after dinner cigars that need a good 2-hour allowance. We are confident you will find your perfect stogie, I know I did.
