Ashton Symmetry

Ashton doesn't introduce new blends that easily, and this blend was labored over for years. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic by legendary tobacconist Carlito Fuente himself, this proprietary blend features exquisite, ultra-rare tobaccos and is the first Ashton to feature Nicaraguan tobacco. The filler is comprised of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos draped in a mahogany Ecuadorian Habano Rosado leaf wrapper. The result is a luxurious, full bodied smoke delivering notes of dried fruit, coffee beans, cinnamon, figs and cedar with a tangy zest. Ashton Symmetry is available in five vitolas.

Finally, Ashton Symmetry was introduced in the 2014 IPCPR show and hit the shelves in October of the same year.
The idea behind Symmetry is balance. Ashton Symmetry features an oily, reddish-brown Habano-seed wrapper from Ecuador covering a Dominican binder. At the core are potent leaves harvested from Un Buen Vecino farm in Esteli Nicaragua and premium fillers from Chateau de la Fuente and Villa Gonzalez in the Dominican Republic. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic.

About Ashton Cigars
Ashton Cigars was founded by Robert Levin in 1985. Robert Levin began handling tobacco when he was in grade school helping out in his father’s cigar store, Holt’s Cigar Company. Shortly after completing school, he went in to work with his father as he figured out what he wanted to do and the rest is history.
He inherited Holt’s Cigar Company in the 1970s. Holt’s was a strong cigar retailer with an established catalogue business. After being in the retail business for a while Robert decided to produce his own cigars to match what he wanted to smoke. The first Ashton cigar was released in 1985 in partnership with Henke Kelner. After a few years, Robert Levin decided to work with the Fuente Family instead. The resulting cigar is the Ashton Classic that is still popular to date. Aside from the Classic and Symmetry, Ashton also has Cabinet, VSG, and Esquire among other successful cigar lines.
