Opus X Angel's Share Reserva D'Chateau Tin features three ultra premium cigars in an attractive case. The cigars are Dominican puros utilizing a proprietary blend of Dominican tobacco fillers and binder. What makes this cigar so incredible is the use of a Rosado leaf wrapper grown at the Chateau de la Fuente plantation, a rich fertile river valley with rough terrain. The flavors in this blend are complex, featuring earthy cedar notes with hints of leather with a sweet finish lased with the flavor of whiskey. The terminology “Angel’s Share” is used in the wine making process. When wine ages for long periods of time, some of it will evaporate which creates “Angel’s Share”. It suggests the belief that guardian angels that will watch over the wine, sample it and give their blessings. The Fuente family lost so much priceless, aged tobacco during the fire in 2012, the inspiration for this cigar came from that exact term. It is implied that the Angels enjoyed the alluring aroma from the tobacco that burned in the warehouses, but in turn, gave their blessings to the Fuente family for future successful endeavors.
