601 La Bomba cigars are some of the most renowned smokes produced by the EO brand. The classy 601 cigar line was born in 2006. It was the product of a rare collaboration between three legendary cigar makers—Erik Espinosa, Jose Garcia and Eddie Ortega. Today, these cigars are made in Espinosa’s La Zona factory, located in the fertile foothills of Esteli, Nicaragua.
The La Bomba is a full-bodied wonder made from rich Nicaraguan filler tobaccos that have a spicy and earthy flavor. These select fillers are firmly secured by Nicaraguan binders that add their own distinct seasoning to the mix. Depending upon the variant you choose, your cigar will be enclosed in either Habano or Connecticut Maduro wrappers. Each of these wrappers is rich in flavor. While the La Bomba Atom is rolled in a Habano wrapper, the La Bomba Warhead comes with a Connecticut Maduro tobacco leaf.
The beautifully constructed La Bomba cigars burn slowly and consistently to produce a long, white ash. The 601 line of cigars are available in 4 different shapes—Corona, Gordo, Robusto and Toro. Each stogie flaunts a deadly fuse at its tip that truly makes it look like a bomb. Light one up, and you’ll understand that the makers weren’t kidding when they named them. These stogies are encased in sleek wooden boxes that help in retaining flavor and humidity. Each box contains 10 handmade cigars.
