The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Robusto is amongst the top of the ranks of the Arturo Fuente lines. Arturo Fuente Cigars are known for their exceptional quality and the Don Carlos line takes it a step further. The blend used for these cigars uses only the best of their estate-grown selection of Dominican tobaccos. Not only is it the best of the best but it's aged up to 10 years! It's no wonder these cigars have an unmatchable smoothness to them and a rich tobacco flavor with a subtle, natural sweetness to it that flows so well with the rest of the flavors of the Don Carlos Robusto has to offer. The cigar has a semi-complex smoke to it, offering the natural sweetness as well as a slightly nutty flavor and a lovely woodsy flavor to it as well. The complexity doesn't end there; the cigar leaves a slight peppery taste on the finish and almost a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Not only does the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Robusto taste great but the construction is immaculate. It has a beautiful tight roll, the seams are nearly invisible and a nice end cap. Of course, with a great roll comes a great, razor sharp burn leaving behind a nice solid grey ash. The draw on the cigar is a little tight but comfortable giving it a nice slow burn (about an hour and 45 minute cigar) and a ton of smoke. The smoke is very aromatic; it will take control of a room.
