CAO Italia Cigars
CAO Italia brings you all the spice and robustness that you might expect from a cigar comprised of Italian-grown tobaccos.
Each cigar is created in the south of Italy, in the Benevento region between Naples and Rome. A special Habano seed was brought to this area from Cuba half a century ago and it is this tobacco that continues to form the filler of these unique pieces. Additional tobaccos from Peru and Nicaragua are also used, with a binder originating from Honduras. The result is a bold, full-strength smoke with a complex flavor range. A thick and dark Honduran Habano seed wrapper completes each piece with a rich and smooth finish. Let the light earthy flavor of the tobacco invigorate your senses, while a touch of sweetness plays with your palate.
The cigars are available in eight different sizes. The smallest is the Piccolos, which is 4 x 38, while the Tubo Large is the largest at 6 ½ x 50. Most of the cigars are handmade in the classic parejo shape, with the exception of the torpedo-tipped Gondola variety. The CAO Italia Cigars have truly created a name for itself. It has even received the honor of being considered one of Cigar Aficionado’s “Best Cigars of the Year.” CAO has been making some of the world’s finest cigars for years. Their artisans work in Esteli, Nicaragua to handcraft each cigar to perfection. Premium blends and careful construction are what make each CAO cigar such a masterpiece.
