Isla Del Sol Robusto cigars are a richly flavored cigar from the premium line-up by Drew Estate. What you will immediately notice about these medium bodied cigars is a beautiful oily texture to them, courtesy of the dark brown Sumatran wrapper. These stogies are filled with a distinctive medley of aged Nicaraguan tobacco and Mandheling Coffee from Indonesia. They have a sweetened tip which adds a fresh dimension to their flavor profile. The draw is smooth and you’ll find that the cigar burns evenly throughout. The actual coffee flavor kicks in once you get about half an inch into the stogie, and slowly diminishes as you move toward the finish.
Produced by one of America’s most famous cigar manufacturers, Drew Estate, these hand-made robustos have a length of 5 inch and a ring gauge of 50. They are available in units of 20, packed in a sleek wooden box with a latch that preserves the freshness and flavor of the product.
